lyrics
If you didn’t notice it then, you won’t remember it now, but I met you with some friends, there was lightning in the sky. I tried to make a joke about angels and a disco. I got tongue tied and you all got fed up. Change on, changer.
I heard you’re back in town working at the drugstore. Did you get the city blues? Oh that I can relate to. Oh I can see it now, me telling you how I found my way back home, oh I’m already bored. Change on, changer.
Toronto rivals San Francisco as the North American capital of jangle pop as evidenced by this new record of sunny jams from the Motorists. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 16, 2024
Toronto duo expand their frenetic jangle pop with elements of country and krautrock; members of Ratboys, Dummy, and more lend guest vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 9, 2024
This is undoubtedly my single favorite album of all time. It feels like such a perfect culmination of all the themes and ideas Fleet Foxes has been working with since 2008. It answers many of the questions found on both Helplessness Blues and Crack-Up, and represents an incredible maturation and growth in Robin Pecknold's perspective. Their other albums are certainly masterpieces, but this, in my opinion, is their magnum opus. I doubt it will be recognized as such in its time. isaiah_stuart
